On 9/30, the Lynbrook varsity football team won their away conference game against Hewlett (NY) by a score of 15-0. The Lynbrook defense led the way for the Owls as they held Hewlett to 12 total yards in the first half. Tyler Denker had 14 tackles and Craig Leszczak added 13 total tackles. Ramon Calderon and Jake Lunati each added a sack. On offense, QB Michael Fagen had 23 carries for 182 yards and added 56 yards in air. He also rushed six yards for a touchdown and had a two-point conversion in Nassau III. Daniel Barroso also rushed for a touchdown for Lynbrook (2-2).
